Here's how it works. If you are already a member of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (D.O.C.S.), then your account has already been set up. See your welcome email for log in instructions. Once in, you can customize your profile and choose which discussions/forums you'd like to join. When there is activity on that forum, you'll get an email that links you right to the posting thread. You can post at will too, adding photos and much more.
Here are some of the new features built into the system that will support your sedation practice and make communicating with your colleagues and asking questions easier:
Virus protection – safety first and not just for the patients! This forum is set up so that all email goes through virus protection software. And since the forum discussions stay on our server, they are completely protected so you are too!
Topic choices – now you can choose what topics/discussion you want to participate in. If you want information on pharmacology, its there. Want information on protocols? That’s there too. New to sedation and want to attract patients, there are discussions on Marketing. Want the jokes and personal messages from your colleagues and friends. You can choose that too. And you can say no to any of it.
Customization – you can customize your profile. Include a photo. Choose your format and change your email address anytime. You can also customize just how you see the forum. Want to see just last week’s posts? Want to see everything? Oldest to newest or newest to oldest? Its your choice now.
Ask your faculty – you’ll have immediate and direct access to the faculty any time. Simply click the button “Ask Feck & Fang” and your question is on its way!
Archives - its easier to get to topics that were discussed a few weeks ago or a few years ago.
