In one of my offices, the hygienist practices with an assistant (accelerated hygiene). I want to put her on commission. What percentages are others using for hygiene compensation? I would like to make her assistant part of her responsibility. Has anyone with an accelerated hygienist on commission used an arrangement where the hygienist pays, hires and fires her own assistant(s)? What sort of compensation percentage for this type of arrangement?
